After several years in a fast paced marketing career with a Fortune 500 toy company, followed by launching one of the first ever shoppable websites, I pivoted in 2002 to my next professional career by teaming up with a residential home builder.  A “spec” house needs to draw visitors in quickly.  By combining my marketing background with the ability to construct timeless designs, I quite literally found a new home.

My understanding of a home buyers’ desire for highly functional floor plans in a luxury home paired well with my marketer’s ability to effectively allocate budgets. This combination of skills was highly useful to builders during the residential home building explosion and their buyers enjoyed my fresh concepts which were sought after for their sophisticated, yet approachable style.  

Innovative, functional space planning and the ability to design without wasting dollars was exactly what the market needed.  “Open House” visitors quickly noticed my thoughtful custom touches, and I found myself taking on individual homeowners as clients.

Now, as an NKBA Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer (CKBD), my skill set has deepened further, bringing a dynamic understanding of construction and mechanics, safety, and accessible design.  Taken together, I build on my years of experience in new construction and home renovation projects.
